Urgent Practice Data SurveyAn NCMGMA, NCMS and Curi CollaborationNCMGMA, NCMS, and Curi have been working together to gather vital practice information from administrators and clinicians across North Carolina relative to the COVID-19 crisis via the Urgent Practice Data Survey, distributed weekly. To support this effort, we are sending a brief e-survey every Monday. Data Summary ReportsThe information and data shared have been compiled for the first four weeks of the survey (March 30th through April 20th) and for week 5 (April 27th) to better understand and report out the most acute and immediate needs, and to establish trends to inform our policymakers and legislative initiatives on behalf of the physicians, PAs, practice administrators and the patients of North Carolina. We compiled four reports: one Summary Report addressing the data averages over the four weeks of collection; a Trends Report, commenting on several notable, stand-out points and trends within the data; a Financial Summary, reporting the monetary impact of COVID-19 on medical practices in North Carolina and a Telehealth report, addressing the different components of treating patients virtually. Bi-weekly SurveysEvery other week, the same set of questions will be sent to your inbox. The idea is to capture weekly snapshots of North Carolina’s healthcare practices as we move through the coronavirus pandemic. The information and data you share will be compiled and used anonymously to better understand the most acute and immediate needs, and to establish any trends to inform our policymakers and legislative initiatives on behalf of the physicians, PAs, practice administrators and the patients of North Carolina. As a reminder, we encourage everyone to complete the entire survey, as we are analyzing these data points for changes over time. Please remember all answers are completely anonymous. Watch your email for the next survey announcement coming soon! Thank you to our Survey ParticipantsThank you to all of the practice administrators, clinicians, and staff who have taken the time to complete our survey.
